'Did I mention the time I went over to Elvis' house' The Voice coaches begin to clash as they boast and namedrop on first show

There's been talk of them feuding with the Britain's Got Talent judges, but tonight the The Voice coaches turned on each other.
As the famous four fought to bring contestants onto their team, the claws certainly came out as well as some serious name-dropping.
Jessie J, Tom Jones, will.i.am and Danny O'Donoghue did their best to boast about their careers in order to take on, what they think, are the best singers who could go on to win the show.

As the foursome opened up the show with a rendition of the Black Eyed Peas hit, Got A Feeling, it appeared that the coaches were the best of friends, but this soon changed.
On the various occasions when all four of them had pressed their buttons and turned around to take a look at the contestant on stage, they suddenly found themselves almost begging to be chosen.
The name-dropping was at it's worst as Tom and will.i.am fought over indie guitarist Adam Issac.
Having been the only two that had pressed their buttons, the 28-year-old was faced with the tough decision of who to work with.

As he admitted it was the 'toughest' decision he had ever made, Tom broke out into a story regarding himself and Elvis Presley.
'Did I mention the time I went over to Elvis' house' he began.
The 71-year-old then went on to explain that Elvis had not been home, but instead had rushed off to a nearby music store to buy two guitars so that he could write and sing with Tom all day long.
However, will.i.am challenged this memory by replying: 'Did I ever tell you about the time when I was in Ireland with Michael Jackson'

So current: Jessie J was quick to use her recent number ones as an excuse to be chosen
The 37-year-old U.S. star then preceded to give his best impression of the late King Of Pop, stating that Michael had asked for the 'beats to be more hungry.'
However, it wasn't just Tom and
will.i.am that came across a little cocky as 23-year-old star Jessie
couldn't help but remind everyone that she is 'current right now.'

But as she continued to boast about being number one, and being able to help a contestant achieve the same, will's response was spiteful.
'You may know what it's like to be current, but I know how it feels to have success the first time, the second time, and the third, fourth and fifth time,' he laughed.
Meanwhile, as will continued to promise the wannabe singers that he could get them a hit across the world, The Script frontman Danny did his best to charm them with his Irish accent.
When 17-year-old Jessica Hammond took to the stage and blew the foursome away, Danny admitted that he thought he had a chance simply because she was from Belfast, but the brunette ended up choosing Jessie to coach her.
